Hi everyone!

Well…we’re at that next juncture in this long strange journey that’s testing our faith in so many ways.
Today, August 9th, we’re worshipping in 2 distinctly different ways.

1st – We’re on-line in a way we were at the very start of the isolation season. Right here are links to songs, resources & a brief message from me to equip you and those who gather in your home to experience God’s presence & His Word together in such a way that over the course of this week you’re able to share the good news of Jesus with someone…whether you’re socially distanced or not.

2nd – We are also back in the Guide Hall in a limited way. We’ll be viewing the same worship songs and hearing the same Word of God, but we’ll be in the Hall seated safely spaced from each other and taking care to be as virus-safe as we can. We know our numbers will be limited but the Holy Spirit is never limited. God’s power is never limited. God’s plans for you in claiming this part of his creation forever are never limited.

My hunch is that this will all be a bit clunky and cumbersome and uncomfortable in many ways. That’s just how life is at the moment. I bumped into some former neighbours the other day & in any other season I’d have shaken hands & hugged…but not right now…It was weird. I’ll never get used to “bumping fists.” But it was great to catch up & just talk to someone I hadn’t seen in too long.

I have appreciated the patience & forbearance you have all shown since March. I am counting on your help to make it through this phase too…to be patient, to be open with your struggles, to be intentionally in prayer for & in touch with one another so that we don’t lose touch with anyone. And to keep praying for the Steering Team as we work our way toward God’s eventual exodus into a new season of freedom.
