25 Jul Worship and a bit more!
Welcome to the weekend everyone!
Lots of important things this morning…So let’s get into it!
Worship this weekend:

I hope you’ve got a group gathering in your house and are sharing part of the day together.
Here’s another link by an Australian pastor/teacher we’ve met in other contexts, Mike Frost. He adds to the conversation about the necessary nature of the church community and how tragic it is when we don’t act like a community. “Hard hitting” is how this brother lives his faith…well worth a read sometime.
Moving slowly back into the Guide Hall:
Thank you to everyone who provided essential input for the Steering Team last week on such short notice re the re-gathering of Living Water for community worship. The basic plan is to continue to provide on-line/at-home resources AND a compact worship experience in the Guide Hall. How we’ll do that is still being worked out but we’ll keep you updated. Most likely August 9th is the “go back in” date and we’re looking to have a baptism on the 16th. I can think of no better way to proclaim Christ’s triumph than that in these uncertain times.
If “now” is not the right time for you to be back among groups of people…you will still have every access to me and to the full spiritual support of your Christian family.
If “now” IS right for you…we’ll see you there in a very different sort of way. Details will come soon.
You’ll be getting some end-of-year materials like you would if there was going to be an AGM…but there isn’t yet. You’ll also ee some budget projections for 2021. I’m very thankful for the many who have increased their giving over the last few months to ensure Living Water has been able to continue serving in this challenging season. Please look for ways to grow in the grace of generosity. We’ll be looking at that spiritual gift in a few weeks in worship…It’s one that we can all exercise and I am so appreciative of the collective abundance Living Water disciples provide. We can grow there together!
Please continue to pray for and offer your support to the Steering Team. This isn’t an easy time for any of us & they are diligent in their work behind the scenes for us. Please also express your thanks to the people you see and hear on the worship videos. A very small group of faithful servants is making our on-line presence possible…without their gracious serving…I’m not sure where we’d be right now. Please share your appreciation when you have a chance.
That’s enough for today. I’m out doing some visiting next week and would love to include you!
Let me know when you’ve got the kettle on & we’ll spend some time together.
And…please go read Psalm 112…a good kickstart to the day!

God bless you one and all!
