Welcome to a new week y’all!

And what a weekend we’ve had!

 

First…HUGE THANK YOUs to the crew that helped us get reset for worship Sunday.

It was nice to see the new floors & we seem to have adjusted quickly to the carpet in the main worship area. It’s different, but different can be awesome.

Second…more Thank Yous to the team going up tomorrow afternoon to get the storage space rebuilt & ready for restocking.

If you’ve been one of the many helping hands holding some things in storage, you can bring it back next Sunday, and we’ll take it off your hands right after worship.

Speaking of worship next Sunday…It’s Reformation Sunday so wear something RED please.

Finally…What a joyous worship experience today…lots of visitors & guests and how wonderful was that floor-full of such well-behaved children who sat so quietly throughout worship right in the middle of the floor and didn’t poke, pinch, or punch one another. At that age I could never have handled that and they were fabulous! Thank you for greeting & welcoming all our guests & making sure it was a memorable day all around.

We’ll be looking at today’s texts from Acts 17 & Luke 9:28-35

 

With the AGM behind us now we can start thinking about the trajectory of our ministry into the future.

We have a budget to meet starting next week. We have neighbours to invite & relationships in our community to build. There’s mission in our city that is ours to carry out.

Remember…we turn 10 this year…What can we do to hear God leading us into the next 10?
