Welcome to the week!

Welcome to the week!

Happy Monday y’all!

I wanted to get this out as soon as possible because there’s a full week ahead & I didn’t want anyone to miss out!

  1. It’s still school holidays for NSW and that means we’ve got a crew of our young people off to Warrambui on Tuesday morning, and maybe a few more on Friday for Junior Youth Camp. Please pray for their safety in travelling and in all the activities the Turning Point Ministry leaders have planned. Ask especially that God would lead the participants to a deeper experience and expression of his love in and through their lives. For many of our young disciples, camp is about the only experience of the wider church they engage in. Let’s be honest here…and the latest census tells us the hard truth…getting young Christians to be part of a worship community is a difficult task for parents and churches. They find lots of ways to be somewhere else besides worship on Sunday mornings; so camp is often the time when the Holy Spirit takes a good grip on their hearts and begins to transform them more fully into the image of Jesus. So the rest of us need to pray hard!
  2. Zoom Bible Study Catch-Up

Friday –  July 15 – 01:00 PM

Join Zoom Meeting – https://us02web.zoom.us/j/88022194499

Meeting ID: 880 2219 4499

It’s a lively time together to chat & look a bit more deeply in the text from Sunday…Romans 8. If you haven’t had a chance to jump in…please do!

  1. Ladies Fellowship is at Eunice’s house this Thursday. I hear that folks are inviting friends or first time guests! Well done! 1 Thessalonians 4:1-12.

In the midst of the colder weather this week…please touch base with someone you know who might be finding it tough. Winter is a difficult season for the already vulnerable or worn down, so check in with each other or a neighbour who might be having a struggle. As God’s people, we never run out of opportunities to show Christ’s care and compassion to someone else.

Be richly blessed this week!

John
