Weekend re-cap…Thank you!

Weekend re-cap…Thank you!

I originally sent this out on Monday…it also should have gone here too…oops!

Happy Monday y’all & I do hope your week is richly blessed!

I couldn’t let a day go without saying how awesome the picnic was yesterday! Huge thanks to Liz for bringing all the pieces together in such a wonderful way.

Brenna has hung one of our prizes on the wall…a devastatingly cute brass dog-art thing. It has to be seen to be believed! I’m sure if you asked, Leonie would let you have it at your house.

The city arranged the boat races as an added bonus to God’s gift of a gorgeous day. All around it was a magnificent time for us as a family in Christ. Just can’t offer enough thanks!

I’m sure we’ll have pictures of the fun popping up here & there over the next few weeks.

If you weren’t able to make this one…when we do it again maybe in the Spring…don’t miss it.

More huge thanks to the hard-working crew that moved quite a heap of downed tree parts out at High Valley on Saturday.

What could have been a rough wet day was transformed by God into a great morning’s work & fellowship!

Well done y’all and that means when it’s bonfire time…it’s going to be enormous…probably see this one from space!

AND…it was good to see a sizeable contingent of Living Water folks out at CSU Friday night for Paul’s presentation.

Like I noted in worship…the crew of students who spent the supper time asking Paul questions and seeking more input is something we can thank God for & pray for more opportunities like that.

Paul’s presentation got my mind working overtime…I’m going to have to shout him coffee one of these days & dig in a bit deeper with him. Cultural insight is essential as we seek to widen our witness in this world.

ALSO…Mark your calendars…

Finally…my devotions this week are carrying me through Romans.

So…Sunday you’re going to get the Revelation thematic work from Revelation 5:1-14…but in that there’s going to be something from Romans 6.

So in your worship preparation…Please have a read through Revelation 5:1-14, Revelation 2:12-17 & Romans 6.

And let Romans 4:21 be your assurance, “ Abraham was fully convinced that God is able to do whatever he promises.”

I pray you share that fully convincedness throughout your week.

Peace

John
