Thank You!

Thank You!

What a great way to spend a Sunday morning…offering something as simple as water to over 600 Lake Run & Ride participants in the name of Jesus.

THEN…lunch & deeply insightful Bible Study-styled worship with wonderful food & great joy in the fellowship of God’s people.

Some thanks yous…

Thank you Graeme for keeping us in touch with the Run & Ride organizers and securing our place in serving our community.

Thank you to those who came early and stayed late to ensure everyone who walked, rode or ran had access to a friendly greeting & a refreshing drink.

Thank you to everyone who adjusted their Sunday schedule to have lunch as God’s family…and so willingly shared what was on their hearts in our discussions.

Thank you to the set-up & clean-up crews who went above & beyond to make sure our morning was blessed.

It was a very blessed day all around. I came home tired but extremely content that we were able to be instruments of God’s grace in such a tangible way.

And as we discussed…we find our deepest contentment, greatest value & highest joy not in storing up things of this life, but in life that is given away to other for others. The best things, most important things, critical to life things cannot be stored, they can only be shared.

“More like this” will be my prayer for this week!

  1. Living Water Annual General Meeting…tentatively scheduled for the 23rd of October (we’re hoping the floors of the Guide Hall are finished & we’re back in on schedule)

One of the items I’ll raise for us both in my Report and as an item for consideration…We turn 10 next year.

How do we faithfully & appropriately say “Thank you” to God for 10 years living his vision for us as Living Water Fellowship?

What should we do to mark the occasion?

I’m open to ideas…

Thanks again for a very satisfying Sunday!

John
