Happy & Blessed Friday!
I hope you are able to get out & enjoy this gorgeous weather before we get some rain moving into next week. I’m really praying for rain again…our new veggie patch could use it!

Here are the details as we prepare for worship this Sunday livestreamed again. I appreciate all the efforts that go into making this possible, and all of you who have patiently worshipped by distance with us and provided very useful feedback. Thank you! Keep praying…one day soon we’ll be back where we are meant to be…together under one roof!

1. The service order and Growing Praise are available on our website in the Resources section as they always are. I’ve heard that some folks are having trouble getting the attachments on these emails to open properly. Not sure why that is…but they will be available on the Resources/Sermons page, linked in this Daily Update, and attached to the email that gets sent to our disciples-database.

We’ll be there at 10:00 a.m. Pass that link on to friends and family…the more the merrier!

3. Also…don’t forget that there will be 2 opportunities for Zoom Bible Study/catching up this week again. I’ll have those times set by Sunday morning…As the second term of the school year also starts this week, we’ll be juggling around the on-line learning/teaching that the women in my house are doing, but I’ll have a convenient day & evening time for us again.

AND…

Pastor David Strong at Wagga Baptist has been organizing churches around the Riverina to set aside a day of prayer & fasting for our country in this season of contagion and quarantine. The final arrangements didn’t come together until late Thursday night…but part of what he has organized is a Zoom prayer time from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday night, 25th April. He intentionally set this to coincide with ANZAC Day…seems appropriate to me too. If you join in Saturday night, you’ll mostly see area Baptist pastors, but jump in & pray along.

Sam Marshman sent me a note that Hillsong Bible College is running a free on-line 6-week New Testament Intro course led by their Academic Dean, Duncan Corby. And you might even find it quite interesting!

I’ll be with you Sunday…and I am confident that we are closer than we might imagine to being set free from our “distancing guidelines.” When we are finally back together…physically not just internet-ically…be ready for the blessings to pour out & the harvest to begin from our city. That’s how I’ve been praying these days… Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen. – Ephesians 3:20-21
