Mid-week invitation!

09 Feb Mid-week invitation!

Good afternoon everyone!

 

I don’t normally drop something on you mid-week…but I wanted to do two quick things…

1. Zoom Bible Studies? I’m going to re-start them the first week of March. I’m just interested in the day & time during the week when we’ll have more people available.  I’d prefer earlier in the week…Tuesday or Wednesday. Tuesdays would usually be my best days but I can do Wednesdays. So…if you’re interested in Zooming in with a lively crew of folks for some deeper digging into God’s Word…Let me know when’s your preferred/most accessible time.
2. This coming Sunday, 14^th February, is the final week of our Re-Set worship series. The goal of that series was to really try to get our lives back in shape and tuned in with Jesus after the crazy year that was 2020. This week is about how God Re-sets our hopes…specifically how our hope is anchored in what we already know God has promised & assured us in Jesus Christ. We’ll see that through the eyes of the prophet Zephaniah…and I’m quite frankly excited about this week in a way that is different from usual. So…I’m going to ask a favour…This week is a great week to invite someone to worship who wouldn’t normally be there. Maybe it’s a family member who might join you at Christmas. Maybe it’s a friend you’ve thought about often. Might be someone who once came pretty regularly, but has slipped off during the whole coronavirus isolation period last year. I don’t know, but I bet you do. They’ll be in for something special.
