Wednesday is always one of my favourite days of the week…not sure why…I just like Wednesdays. Always have. Hump Day!

It also means we’re closer to our weekly Zoom Bible Study Catch-up…you should join us…it’s pretty fun too.

Affirmation of Baptism through the Rite of Confirmation is this weekend. 8 of our young disciples will be affirming their faith & the promises God made to them when they were baptized. It’s also a Morning Tea Sunday so be ready for a great morning together as God’s family.

 

Some notes about this weekend that may impact you in some way.

There are some old sayings: “It never rains until it pours,” & “They always come in threes.” Both are true this weekend…here’s what I mean:

1. NSW State Rugby Tournament at Jubilee Park, Friday-Sunday.
2. Riverina Food & Wine Festival in the downtown Civic Precinct Saturday afternoon & evening.
3. Boat Races on Lake Albert Saturday & Sunday.

Wagga is going to be crawling with visitors & cars & boats & it could get pretty exciting over this weekend. Great for the local economy. Maybe crazy trying to get a parking space anywhere this side of Coolamon. We’ll survive & it’ll all be just fine…just crowded everywhere you might want to go.
