Easter Worship Opportunities

Good morning everyone!

God’s richest blessings to you on this Easter Saturday…what I have come to appreciate as a “silent” day in the journey toward the joy of the resurrection. “Silent” because it’s that day when we wait…like we do so much right now & throughout our lives…wait for God’s promise to bless us with abundant life to be fulfilled.

But while we wait, we also prepare…So to help you prepare for worship tomorrow here’s what you’ll need to join in the multiple opportunities we have available:

1. This link will take you to the Living Water Wagga YouTube channel where “we” will be live at 8:30 a.m. Sunday April 12th. https://youtu.be/TafPPJhgnE8

a. Please join us from your home and gather the people you can invite safely & legally to celebrate with you

b. Also note the service order, included as an attachment with the Sermon, provides for Communion. Because we’re limiting our livestream to about 30 minutes, we will not be Communing “live” but you are free to do so after the livestream concludes. As I hope you have in the past, simply read 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 using appropriate elements similar to what we generally use on Sundays, and “taste and see that the Lord is good!”

c. Also note in the service order there are lyrics to the songs as well as links for you to go back & sing again after the livestream ends. The lyrics you can use to sing along…so please print the service order to help follow along.

2. This second link will go live at 10:00 a.m. from Wagga Baptist Church https://livestream.com/waggabaptist/events/9072510
This is a collaborative worship of about an hour length. Thank God for the work of Pastors David Strong, Scott Goode, and Jon Blyth in working with us to bring our 4 congregations together for a shared celebration of Christ’s triumph in the midst of our trials. This is one of the fruits of the last year as David, Jon and I have met regularly to pray together and support each other. Steadfast faith. Deep trust. Profound respect. Brotherly love. Shared labour in Christ’s vineyard. We will by the Spirit’s power, see a harvest of eternal life emerging from these difficult days.

Please share these links far and wide…and be encouraged my brothers & sisters…Christ is the light that scatters the darkness and routs the very forces of hell that seem unleashed against us. That we can proclaim with great boldness!

Peace & joy in the “silence” until the shouts of victory!

John
