I mentioned earlier in the week that I might have another word or two to share…and I was right.

I want to be quick here & not clog up your in-box…

So…first…

We’re following up on Sunday’s teaching from Exodus 4:1-17 & 27-31. Have a quick read through the texts and click that link! Always lots to learn & enjoy among the folks who log in with us.

2. LWF Prayer Morning – I missed this one earlier…just slid right past me in my notes…Saturday 24^th June – 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the Guide Hall – This is an excellent opportunity to pray for some specific needs in our world, for one another, & for our upcoming GBO partnerships. If you haven’t made it to one of these…you should be there.
3. 10^th Anniversary Thanksgiving Celebration – Living Water is using this  Sunday the 25^th of June to thank God for our 10 years in Christ’s mission together. There’ll be a bit of a difference to the service & lunch together following. What a great day to bring a friend with you. I’ve mentioned the possibility of everyone making a “thank offering” gift to put us on a front foot going into the next decade. Prayerfully consider that…not for a specific “thing” but for the general operations so we’re sitting a bit higher in the water.

Also…remember to bring one of those handouts you received Sunday back with you…or get another one. We want to share the stories of God’s hand in our lives over these last 10 years.

4. Speaking of our next decade…On July 2^nd, I’ll be making available a bit of forward visioning I shared with the Steering Team last month. It’s a collection of focus points I want to lead toward over at least the next year…and some will take longer as you’ll see then. Some of it is personal & some of it is directly geared toward how we move into the next years of God’s call here. I’m excited, and with a new knee in the offing, probably will be in better shape to make a few things start happening as well. 😉
5. Living Water Interviews will be taking a bit of a break for a few weeks…but I’m still looking for a few more volunteers to share their stories of God’s faithfulness in keeping his promises in your lives. Let’s talk over lunch Sunday!

 

This morning I was reading the last few chapters of Proverbs & was struck by the truth here in Proverbs 30:5 – “Every word of God proves true. He is a shield to all who come to him for protection.”

I can’t think of a more assuring promise.
