Life Transformation Groups

 

Life Transformation Groups are a place for:
COMING together in Jesus love in a safe and loving community
GROWING together in God’s Word and letting him inspire us to actively live his love in the world.
GOING out inspired by God’s word
You can COME to a Life Group with people of similar ages, stages, locations or interests and share fellowship weekly or fortnightly in a home, cafe or other location.  Invite your friends to join you.
You can GROW together through laughter , tears, your highs and lows as you experience the joy of Christian community at its best.
You can be inspired and supported to GO out into your community and SHOW God’s love to others.

Small Home Groups

 

A number of small groups meet informally in homes and other locations for a meal, a chat, a book or Bible study, a movie or other activity.  Groups operate quite independently of each other and the program, frequency and timing of meetings varies with each group.

Ladies Fellowship

 

It is important to think about how we are treating those around us. How do we shoe people the love of Jesus Christ? How do we serve those who are in need?

 

Women of all ages are invited to join us as we come together to contemplate these questions and others, grow through our Bible study and enjoy each other’s friendship and a delicious lunch.

 

When and where do we meet?
10:00am on the second Thursday of each month

How do we serve those in need?

 

Projects we have supported recently are the Bible Society, Australian Lutheran World Service, Warrambui Retreat and Conference Centre, Lutheran media and ICC Christian Education Wagga Wagga.

Care and Share

 

We are a group of ladies who enjoy coming together weekly over a cup of tea or coffee and clicking our knitting needles or crochet hooks.

 

We creat Prayer Shawls for anyone who needs comfort and prayer.  Shawls have been sent to may areas of the state.

 

We knit Trauma Dolls which are given to (and received gratefully by) many community organisations where a child in distress might find comfort in a wee doll.  Dolls have gone to the NSW Ambulance service, the Rural Referral Hospital Emergency Department, the Family Law Court, Ronald McDonald House and local dentists.  In one year almost 300 dolls were donated for use in Wagga Wagga.

Care and Share

 

We have also knitted knee rugs or bed quilts for the more elderly.

 

Our ladies have knitted generously for the Guardian Chemist Winter Appeal, knitting a variety of garments for children in Wagga Wagga.

Saintly Sowers

Saintly Sowers is a friendship group centered around various craft activities – ladies enjoying patchwork, knitting, crochet and other crafts along with a chat and morning tea.

When and where do we meet?

Meetings are held on the first and third Friday morning of each month from 9 – 11 am at:
